UNSS32750 (also known as 2507) duplex stainless steel mesh is a high-molybdenum and high-chromium alloy mesh. It is highly resistant to chloride ions, chloride mineral acids, diluted hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, etc.
Corrosion, stress corrosion and other capabilities are also very strong, so it is mainly used in the marine environment, high chloride environment, chemical industry and marine marine filtration system (various valve cartridges, filter cartridges, filters), due to the difficulty of wire drawing this material, The smallest wire diameter in China is 0.05 mm, and the maximum mesh size can be 200 mesh. Corrosion resistance
General corrosion
The higher chromium and molybdenum content of SAF 2507 gives it a strong resistance to organic corrosion to organic acids such as formic acid, acetic acid, etc. SAF 2507 alloys for inorganic acids, especially those containing chlorides
Inorganic acids also have strong corrosion resistance.
Compared with 904L, SAF2507 has stronger corrosion resistance to diluted sulfuric acid mixed with chloride ions. 904L is an austenitic alloy designed to resist pure sulfuric acid corrosion.
316L grade can not be used in hydrochloric acid environment, it may be subject to local corrosion or overall corrosion. SAF2507 can be used in diluted hydrochloric acid environment, with strong resistance to plaque damage and crevice corrosion resistance.
2. Intergranular corrosion
The lower carbon content of nSAF 2507 greatly reduces the risk of carbide precipitation in the intergranular heat treatment. Therefore, this alloy has a strong resistance to carbide-related intergranular corrosion.
3. Stress corrosion cracking
The duplex structure of SAF 2507 gives it a strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Due to its high alloy content, SAF 2507 has better corrosion resistance and strength than 2205.
Cracks are almost inevitable in terms of construction, etc., which makes stainless steel more susceptible to corrosion in chloride environments. SAF 2507 has a strong resistance to crack corrosion. SAF 2507 is included.
The isocratic curve in sulfuric acid with 2000 ppm chloride ion is 0.1 mm/year; the isocratic curve in hydrochloric acid is 0.1 mm/year.
